- Fair Rental Value CoverageIf a covered loss makes that part of your dwelling which is rented or held for rental to others unfit to live in, this coverage will pay the fair rental value of that part of the dwelling less any expenses that do not continue. The coverage ends when that part of the dwelling is repaired.
- Family UnitsFor property policies, family units are self-contained living areas that have a separate entrance, kitchen or kitchenette and at least one bathroom.
- Financial Responsibility LawsState laws that require owners or operators of motor vehicles to provide evidence that they have the ability to pay for losses for which they might become liable. Generally such proof is a valid insurance policy.
- Floaters (Personal Articles Floaters)Floaters are used to insure certain items of personal property which have limited coverage under the standard property policies. This includes items of jewelry, coin and stamp collections, cameras, silverware, computer equipment and some other valuables. Not only do floaters insure such items for their appropriate value, they also expand the list of perils insured against.
- Flood InsuranceA regular homeowner's policy will not pay for damages caused by flooding. Companies that write for the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) provide coverage. Outside of fire, flooding is the most widespread natural disaster. If your community participates in NFIP's floodplain management program, you should be eligible to buy the coverage. Residents of "coastal barrier resource system" areas and communities that do not participate in NFIP's programs may have trouble finding flood coverage. Flood insurance is also available to renters, condominium owners, and co-op owners.
- Frame ConstructionA structure with outside support walls, roof and floors of wood or other combustible materials.
- Full Glass CoverageWith Full Glass Coverage, your glass claims will be paid in full regardless of your comprehensive deductible. (Availability varies by state).
- Funeral Expense CoverageCoverage that pays for funeral or burial expenses if bodily injury results in an insured's death within 24 months from the date of the accident.
