California Casualty’s $7,500 School Lounge Makeover® is Back

San Mateo, CA, September 27, 2018 – Due to popular demand, California Casualty’s $7,500 School Lounge Makeover® is back. Educators wishing to turn their ordinary school lounge into something extraordinary can enter to win at www.NewSchoolLounge.com. The entry deadline is July 12, 2019.

Serving educators since 1951, California Casualty knows the importance of a designated, uplifting space where instructors and school staff can take time to relax, recharge and collaborate with colleagues.

While educators give so much to their students and communities, all too often, the school lounge is one of the most neglected areas of a school.

California Casualty’s School Lounge Makeover will create a restful environment that nurtures creativity and provides a place for staff to catch their breath.

The 2015 recipient, Stephanie L. from Santan Elementary School in Arizona, said, “This is almost like a spa. The stress melts away as you walk through the door, it’s that delightful. I am so blow away! I will be spending a lot more time in the lounge because it’s now so intimate and nice.”

California Principal Bonnie T., another winner, was moved to tears after witnessing the Madrid Middle School’s revamped lounge. “I’m happy for the teachers and staff because the area needed serious attention,” she said. “To have a place that is a real break room will make a difference for everyone.”

“We’ve seen the dedication of administrators, teachers and staff firsthand and we’re proud to show our appreciation,” said California Casualty Sr. Vice President, Mike McCormick.

Educators can transform their school lounge by simply entering for a $7500 School Lounge Makeover at www.NewSchoolLounge.com. All staff members at a school can enter to increase their school’s chances.

The deadline to enter is July 12, 2019. A winner will be announced later that month.
