Connecticut Nurse Enjoys a Healing Weekend From California Casualty
San Mateo, CA, December 17, 2014 … "It's nice when our hard work gets noticed," said RN Tracie Crisafulli as she began her stay at the Hotel Hershey and World Famous Chocolate Spa® in Hershey, Pennsylvania this past weekend. Tracie is the most recent winner of California Casualty's "Give A Nurse A Break" contest. She, a coworker and her mother, also a nurse, enjoyed a luxurious weekend getaway, valued at $5,500.
Tracie is in her third year at the surgery center of Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Farmington. "There is no better feeling than putting a smile on a child's face or sending them home with their parents happy and healthy," she said. While she takes great pride in the work she does, Tracie says it's important for health professionals to know when to take a break and "unwind and de-stress."
California Casualty's "Give A Nurse A Break" contest is a thank you to health care professionals who work long hours, often under challenging conditions. "We appreciate everything they do and we want to give them a chance to relax and feel appreciated for the care they provide," said California Casualty Vice President Mike McCormick.
