Mobile SMS Terms & Conditions Agreement
As auto and home quote requests are sent to California Casualty we may attempt to contact you by SMS text on the phone number provided in the quote request.
Users will received an initial test message from us to coordinate the timing of the auto and/or home quote. A minimum number of text messages will be sent during this coordination period. No text messaging will be done outside of this particular transaction unless the user specifically provides permission.
This service is available for phones with text messaging capabilities, and subscribers on AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile®, Sprint, Virgin Mobile USA, Cincinnati Bell, Centennial Wireless, Unicel, U.S. Cellular®, and Boost. For help, respond to our text message with HELP, email email@example.com, or call 1.888.374.0677.
Users can opt-out at any time by respond to our text message anytime with "STOP". You can get help at any time by responding with "HELP" at anytime. Or you can request to be removed via email by sending your mobile number to firstname.lastname@example.org and requesting to be removed. After this you will no longer receive any California Casualty text messages to your mobile number.
There is no charge by California Casualty to obtain an auto or home quote through the SMS texting process, however message and data rates may apply based on your current wireless plan for both sending and receiving text messages. By utilizing SMS Texting to facilitate an auto or home quote you certify that you are 18 years of age or older and (a) are the wireless account holder or (b) you have the account holder's permission to do so.

Financial Responsibility Statement
To offer you an accurate quote, we may collect information from consumer reporting agencies, such as driving record, claims history reports and credit history. Future reports may be used to update or renew your insurance.
"You" mean the people who utilize SMS Texting to facilitate and auto or home quote. "We", "our", "us" and "provider" refer to California Casualty as well as any other entity providing any service, application, or content to you from us on our behalf. "Applications" and/or "Content" refer to any file, device or software that can be downloaded by you to either a computer or a wireless device such as a handset or a personal digital assistant.
"Service" means the California Casualty Auto and Home Insurance Program and any associated Abbreviated Dial Code, Applications or Content.
Acceptance of These Terms
By using this service you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement. If you do not agree with this agreement, you must immediately cease usage of these services you have received.

Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by law, we make no representations or warranties regarding the service, applications or content that you receive from us, and disclaim any warranties or representations, express or implied, including any warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular use. This service offered to the public by provider could include inaccuracies, other errors or may not function in the manner you anticipated. Furthermore, we are not responsible for circumstances beyond our control, including, without limitation, acts or omissions of others, atmospheric conditions or acts of god. We do not promise error-free service. We will not be liable for any delays in the receipt of any SMS messages as delivery is subject to the effective transmission from your network operator.
Limitation of Liability
We are not responsible and will not be liable for any other damages of any nature, including any incidental, special or consequential damages (such as lost profits or lost business opportunities), punitive damages or attorney's fees.
Your use of this Service under this Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California.
