The recent passing of Heather Schafer, National Volunteer Fire Counsel CEO, has left a huge wake of emotions for those individuals and organizations that she touched and worked within the fire service. California Casualty Gives $15,000 to the California Peace Officers Memorial Fund (CPOMF)
San Mateo, CA, March 5, 2021—The California Casualty Group donated $15,000 to the California Peace Officers’ Memorial Foundation (CPOMF) to fund education scholarships for dependents of California peace officers who have died in the line of duty. The financial contribution was made in support of the ongoing efforts of the CPOMF: to recognize and honor California’s fallen heroes and to provide services, financial assistance, advocacy and support to the surviving families left behind.

California Casualty Gives $5,000 to California Teachers Association (CTA) Disaster Relief Fund

The fund, administered by CTA Member Benefits Department, is endowed to provide financial assistance to CTA members who have experienced significant losses due to natural or other disasters in California.
